These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, website, and communications. By booking an appointment, purchasing services, or opting into communications, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
Notalis Notary & Apostille Services provides:
Mobile notary services
Remote Online Notarization (RON)
Apostille and document legalization services
Related administrative support services
We perform services in accordance with Texas law and applicable industry standards.
We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.
2. Eligibility
By using our services, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years old
You are legally able to sign documents
You will provide valid government-issued identification
You will provide accurate and truthful information
We reserve the right to refuse service if these conditions are not met.
3. Appointment Policies
Scheduling
Appointments must be scheduled in advance through our approved booking methods.
Grace Period
A 15-minute grace period is provided for scheduled appointments. Additional wait time may be billed.
No-Shows
If the appointment cannot proceed due to client absence or readiness, applicable travel and time fees will apply.
Rescheduling
One free reschedule with at least 12 hours’ notice
Less than 12 hours may incur a rescheduling fee
4. Remote Online Notarization (RON)
By using RON services, you agree that:
Sessions will be audio/video recorded as required by Texas law
Identity verification will be performed through our secure platform
You are responsible for having proper technology and internet access
Failure to pass identity verification or attend the session does not qualify for a refund of platform fees.
5. Apostille & Legalization Services
Scope
We facilitate document processing with government agencies and, when required, embassies or consulates.
Processing Times
All timelines are estimates. Government agencies may delay processing without notice.
Client Responsibility
You are responsible for:
Providing correct documents
Following destination country requirements
Reviewing documents before submission
We are not responsible for rejections caused by issuing agencies or receiving parties.
6. Fees and Payments
Payment Terms
Payment is due at booking or at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.
We accept major credit cards and approved digital payments.
Non-Refundable Services
The following are non-refundable once completed or attempted:
Completed notarizations
RON identity verification attempts
Government and courier fees already paid
Apostille services after submission to any government office
Chargebacks
You agree to contact us first to resolve any billing concerns. Improper chargebacks may result in collection actions for the unpaid balance plus processing fees.
7. Travel and After-Hours Fees
Mobile services may include travel or after-hours fees, which will be disclosed at booking. These fees are earned once travel has commenced.
8. Identification Requirements
All signers must present valid government-issued photo identification that complies with Texas notary requirements.
Names on identification must reasonably match the documents being notarized.
We reserve the right to refuse service if identification requirements are not met.
9. Witness Requirements
If witnesses are required:
Clients may provide their own qualified witnesses
We may provide witnesses for an additional fee
Witness eligibility must meet legal requirements
10. SMS/Text Messaging Terms (A2P 10DLC Compliance)
By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive transactional and/or marketing text messages from Notalis Notary & Apostille Services.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Data Use

11. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information and only share data as necessary to complete services or comply with law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Notalis Notary & Apostille Services shall not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential damages
Government processing delays
Carrier shipping delays or losses
Document rejection by receiving agencies
Client-provided errors or omissions
Our maximum liability, where permitted by law, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service.
13. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service for, including but not limited to:
Suspected fraud
Incomplete or blank documents
Improper identification
Signer unwillingness or incapacity
Abusive or inappropriate behavior
Any violation of law or professional standards

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
